We are currently looking for a IT Support Specialist in Ghent.
Your tasks:
· Support others that have IT issues , drop everything and go to help and dig into the IT-issue until it is solved
· Take ownership and actively suggest improvements
· Go to the shop floor to check what can get improved concerning the IT-infrastructure/IT-solution
· Document your work so that colleagues know what you have done just like you want/need to know what your colleagues have done
· Like to work in shifts
· Like to be the contact from within our team towards the business (and vice versa) for specific area(s) of expertise
· Get interested in the processes of the business in general and want to improve things as IT should help users in their daily job then you might be our candidate
· You are an ambitious IT support specialist, or aspiring to become one, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in assisting users with IT issues.
· You possess strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in Windows 10, O365, mobile devices such as scanners and PDAs, and IT networking.
· You have a basic understanding of servers, ODBC, and scripting.
· You are enthusiastic about new IT technologies like IoT, Arduino, AI, ML, and RPA, or you already have experience with one or more of these.
· You are eager to learn and grow, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
· You are motivated to work in a global context according to business needs and processes, with complete proficiency in English.
· You are a team player.
You have an excellent knowledge of English
