Maintenance technician

Job description

Are you a technical talent with a passion for maintenance and problem solving? Take on a challenging role within a dynamic logistics distribution centre, where your expertise will contribute to the reliability of automated installations and rolling stock. Together with your team, you will ensure the smooth operation of the technical infrastructure and help maximise operational efficiency.

Your tasks:

- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated installations (ARS, Sequencer, Miniload, Panotec, Autostore, etc.)

- Maintenance and repairs to rolling stock

- Electrical and mechanical interventions on various installations (HVAC, docks, wheel locks, sanitary installations, etc.)

- Minor technical jobs, RFAs and urgent utility repairs

- Planning inspection rounds (legionella, alarm systems, roof inspections)

- Supervising contractors and reporting findings to the supervisor

- Administrative follow-up and reporting of tasks performed

Requirements

- Experience as a technician or in a similar position.

- Knowledge of electricity and automation.

- Practical insight and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.

- Team player with a hands-on mentality and an eye for safety.

- Experience with welding is a plus.

- You can understand electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic diagrams.

Languages

You have a very good knowledge of English
