AGO Select is looking for a Business Group Operational Technology Engineer to support a global production network in optimizing and securing their OT landscape. You’ll work across multiple production sites worldwide, guiding local OT teams in implementing effective operational technology strategies. Your focus will lie on minimizing cybersecurity risks, addressing system obsolescence, and ensuring overall OT performance and availability.
You will support strategic decision-making and help shape long-term OT architecture in line with industry standards. You’ll collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to ensure operational continuity and high technical standards across all levels of the OT environment (ISA95 Level 0–3.5).
Key Responsibilities
Ensure site OT availability by minimizing cybersecurity risks, business threats, and equipment obsolescence
Lead maintenance, monitoring, and operational solutions to protect system uptime
Execute activities defined in the OT Service Catalogue, supporting both operational and strategic decisions
Own and safeguard OT architecture at site level, ensuring compliance with internal standards
Handle tasks across the full OT scope (ISA95 Level 0–3.5), with a 1–25+ year outlook
Collaborate with internal teams (OT, IT, Digital) and external stakeholders (OEMs, integrators, auditors)
Drive continuous improvement, meet key performance indicators, and ensure delivery of high-quality OT solutions
Team & Structure

BG OT Management: providing operational support to site-level OT teams

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Medium to senior-level experience in OT engineering and automation, ideally within manufacturing or process industries
Familiar with production-related OT impact frameworks (EHEDG, ATEX, HACCP, HAZOP)
Strong knowledge of OT standards such as ITIL, ISA88/95/99, GAMP, ISA/IEC 62443, NEN3140
Familiarity with OT Security practices (NIS2, NIST 2.0, incident handling, secure data access)
Experience with data systems: databases, secure extraction from OT to external platforms, and system performance analysis
Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a strong asset
You are analytical, communicative, and proactive in working across departments and locations
You have a very good knowledge of Dutch
